AEMS (Aurobindo Emergency Medical Services) is a pioneer in Emergency Medical Services in Andhra Pradesh. As a not – for – profit professional organization operating, AEMS will be the largest professional Emergency Service Provider in India.
July 1st 2020, most memorable day in AEMS, as it started services by flagging of 1088 ambulances of 108 & 104 by our Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy Garu, which has created all-time record in Health Industry in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The organization was incepted with the objective of delivering comprehensive, speedy, reliable and quality Emergency Care Services. AEMS established an Emergency Response System which coordinates with every emergency through a toll-free number 108 and 104.
Whenever there is an emergency ensures prompt communication and activation of a response that includes, assessment of the emergency, dispatch of the ambulances, along with a well-trained Pilot and Emergency Medical Technician to render quality pre-hospital care and transport of the patient to the appropriate health care facility.

108 Services
- An easy to remember emergency access number – 108/104. Ambulances that are well equipped and manned by trained personnel (EMT-B/ EMT –A).
- Mobile Medical Clinics (MMC/MMU) Services for rural areas for daily routine lab investigations and medication distribution with Doctor Examination.
- Effective communication system between the central control room, ambulances and the emergency facilities in ERC.
- Standardized emergency medical services with collateral connections with all hospital network.
- Common functional and medical protocols across the system.
- Continuous training programs to personnel required for pre-hospital system care.
104 Services

Thalli Bidda Express
Dr. YSR Thalli Bidda Express is a Drop Back Services meant for transporting Post natal Women from Hospital to back home. Apart from that it gives transportation to High-Risk Pregnant Women (HRPW) and Severe Anemic Pregnant Women (SRPW) from Home to Hospital and vice versa to reduce MMR and IMR. In Andhra Pradesh 500 vehicles are deployed and served 3.6 Lacs beneficiaries since April 2022.
